I was called to a home to fix a shower. The tenant had tried to change out the cartridge but had broken the hot and cold water lines. I cut out the old lines and replaced them with new PEX. I tested for leaks and found that there was a leak coming from the cartridge. I replaced the cartridge with a Moen 1222b cartridge and everything is working properly now.

Ripped out all old galvanized piping and repiped home on hot and cold pex tubing all new angle stops with new supply lines and a brand new 30 gallon gas water heater (ruud) new supply lines and shut off valve and new main shut off valve as well.
